Short version: we hold your walkthrough request so we can talk to you about QuickTac, and nothing else. Match data you capture in the app stays on your own device unless you choose to sync it.
Players are logged by jersey number, never by name. Player names you enter are stored only on your own device and are never sent to us. We could not see them if we wanted to.
QuickTac is a small independent project run from Ireland. For data-protection purposes the controller is the QuickTac team, contactable at [email protected].

We also record the date and time you sent it and your browser's user-agent string, to help us spot automated spam.
To stop the form being abused we keep a one-way cryptographic hash of your IP address for 24 hours, and then delete it. We do not store the address itself, and the hash cannot be reversed to recover it.
This site sets no cookies and runs no third-party tracking or advertising scripts. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
We use these details for one thing: contacting you about QuickTac. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to an enquiry you sent us.
We will not sell it, share it with anyone else, add you to a marketing list, or use it for anything you did not ask for. We delete requests within 24 months of your last contact with us, or sooner if you ask.
Requests are stored in a Cloudflare D1 database, and email is delivered through Cloudflare Email Routing to a Google Mail account. Both are processors acting on our instructions.
The app is offline-first. Events you capture during a match are written to storage on your own device and stay there. If you switch on multi-device sync, the events for that match are sent to our backend so a second device can join — but because players are identified by jersey number, that data contains no player names.
Video you upload stays on your device unless you explicitly choose to upload it for sharing.
Even if you never switch on sync, the app contacts our server in two ways:
If you sync or share a match, we also store its events, squad jersey numbers, team names and colours, the join code, and a report link if you create one. If you publish a training session, we store the session and its drills behind the link you share.
Under UK and EU data-protection law you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will action it within 30 days. You also have the right to complain to your data-protection regulator — the ICO in the UK, or the DPC in Ireland.
